Hey, I'm Leo!

I first got into fitness when I got kicked out of sixth form at 17.

I wasn't in a great place mentally and felt insecure about my appearance. This was due to me not doing much, feeling physically heavy and low in confidence.

After weeks of being in between sixthforms, I started attending a gym to lose weight and gain muscle. Although it took a long time to figure out how to approach my training and nutrition correctly, I enjoyed the process.

The more I pursued training, nutrition research, certifications and internships, the more friends, family and strangers would ask questions. That's when I realised I enjoyed helping you get stronger, lose fat and hit your goals.

There are vast amounts of misinformation out there, and ultimately, it would be wrong not to help out.

A BIT OF MY previous experience:

  • I hold a BSc and an MSc in Strength and Conditioning after four years at the University of Central Lancashire, U.K. and a year at the University of Vermont, USA.

  • I completed strength and conditioning/coaching internships at professional football clubs such as Fulham F.C. and Preston North End F.C., as well as a placement in professional rugby through Wigan Warriors.

Fitness aside:

  • I was born and raised in south London, England. Streatham and Thornton Heath, to be precise. However, my parents are from Lisbon, Portugal.

  • South London is ultimately home, although I’ve also lived in Preston, Burlington VT, Tokyo, Osaka, the Alentejo region of Portugal, and Lisbon. Most were very random, but the overall experiences were unique, and that's what life's about, too.

  • Sushi and fried chicken are my favourite foods, and it’s not even close.

  • I am studying Japanese using YouTube, textbooks, phone apps, podcasts, iTalki and talking to friends.

  • Nowadays, you can find me in Lisbon enjoying espressos, reading my Kindle and working alongside my 1-2-1 online fitness members.
